Hi, I am Charlotte, I am a Wellness Coach & Executive Coach.
Creator & founder of Mente Hermosa Academy - a training and events platform that aims to support childcare educators and professionals to better support children and young people with their mental health and wellbeing.
I empower children and young people to feel confident, develop self-esteem and a strong character in order to enable them to learn the skills which allow them to be comfortable with who they are in a judgemental society.
I have also created a children's welfare diploma to enhance childcare professionals' and educators' knowledge on the fundamental requirements that are needed in order to help children thrive and survive in today's society.
My passion for working for children comes from my previous experience of working in a variety of health and social care settings, learning the foundations of what it means to offer and deliver a high-quality standard of care to children and young people.
Throughout my career, I have developed the skills needed to enable me to make sure that my priority is standing up for children and young people's rights, making sure their voices are heard and that they get the help and support they need.
Within the business, I offer a service that educates childcare professionals and educators on the knowledge, support, and information that will enable them to deliver a high-quality standard of childcare with a focus on children's mental health and wellbeing.
We can offer training and development in the following areas :-
Social media and the impact on the younger generation
Mindfulness techniques and Yoga
Self-esteem & confidence
Leadership & management skills
Resilience and emotional regulation
Stress & Trauma
Charlotte Lewington is a Wellbeing Coach and Executive Trainer. Her two passions in life are supporting people and making a positive impact in the world.
From a young age, she always had a love for children and decided to pursue a career within the childcare profession. She became an expert by developing her knowledge with a Diploma in Childcare & Education and growing a successful 16-year career in various childcare, health, and social care settings.
Throughout her time in employment and university research projects, she began to understand how powerful the mind is as well as how your childhood experiences and the impact of social media can affect your confidence and self-esteem as an adult.
Throughout her own childhood, she experienced many obstacles which only made her stronger and she found out from a young age that we have two choices in life - we can look at the experiences we face as happening for us or to us. She believes they happen for us. You can either sit down and cry about things or you get up and learn the lesson being shown to you.
Charlotte has gone on further spreading her message by making it her mission to educate people on the importance of mental health and well-being. She has gained her experience by working with entrepreneurs and organizations through developing and delivering courses on the subject.
